A bit about me as a designer

The opportunity for further creative development started … in grade 11 when my family relocated, and my new school offered art as a subject. My class friends were so creative and I had a lot of catching up to do. I learnt about art theory and created artwork with a hands-on-approach by trying linocut and painting, before transitioning into the digital realm at a later stage.

After moving to the United Kingdom in 2000 I started working digitally on projects … and … absolutely LOVED it. I worked in the creative and marketing departments in the corporate world and worked with many demands from the panicked to the calm.

During this time I was able to acquire industry standard software knowledge and the opportunity to further develop and enhance my creative skills.

During my time as a full-time mom, and also moving to Canada, I explored various creative avenues as well as continued my studies with night classes and online courses. Technology is constantly changing and I enjoy keeping up to date.

I provide creative design and front-end web developmentI would love to help you with your personal and/or business projects to establish your presence on the World Wide Web! I can assist you with new design concepts and/or updates to your existing graphics and web work.

Let’s discuss your ideas and make them a REALITY!

When I’m not designing I enjoy spending time with my guys, baking bread, watching movies, playing board games, leisurely cycling in the summer, and my new found like (currently debatable) for snowboarding in the winter. I’m continuously learning and often on the web with my nose in some tech article. I also enjoy walks with my handsome yellow lab Toffy aka ‘Tee’ and ‘Dr Wiggles’.
